LAHORE: A woman was severely scorched after her husband threw acid at her over domestic issues here on Saturday. The police arrested the accused.
Police said that the culprit Amjid exchanged hot words with his wife Farzana in Nishat Colony of the provincial capital Lahore. After verbal clash, the accused hurled acid at his wife due to which she was scorched and rushed to hospital where her condition was stated to be stable and out of danger.
The police arrested the culprit and after registering a case against him have started an investigation.
