Local Court has extended interim bail of suspect Ali Hassan Qadri in the Baldia garment factory fire case here on Saturday.
Ali Hasan Qadri, said to be an aide to interned Anis Kaimkhani now president of the Pak Sarzameen Party, has been nominated as a middleman in the alleged money transaction between the owners of industrial unit and the then Muttahida Qaumi Movement deputy convener Mr Kaimkhani to reportedly reduce the hype surrounding the incident.
SSP Sajjad and Investigation officer along with suspect presented before the court. The suspect was bought to the court on wheel chair.
During the hearing, Investigation officer told the court that supplementary challan ready in light of new JIT.
The court ordered to present the new challan before the magistrate and adjourned the hearing until Aug 27.
