Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication will provide internet facility to 90 per cent areas of Balochistan by the year 2018.
An official of the ministry said that work on basic infrastructure to provide the internet facility to various areas of Balochistan was underway.
To a question he said, Universal Service Fund Company (USFCo) 46th board discussed development of telecommunication services in un-served and under-served areas across the country.
He said, that the Board of Directors took in to consideration the important upcoming projects of USFCo including the Telecenters.
