Pakistan to continue supporting Kashmir movement: Musadik Malik

KARACHI: Spokesperson of Prime Minister House, Dr. Musadik Malik, on Wednesday said Pakistan has adopted clear stance for supporting independence movement of Kashmir on moral, diplomatic and political platforms besides raising the matter on international forums.

While addressing media in Karachi, Musadik Malik said the government is raising the issue on all levels as Kashmiris are demanding their self-determination right but they were being riddled by bullets.

He said PM Nawaz Sharif summoned envoys of member countries of UN Security Council to hand over note over ongoing crisis in Kashmir while a note was also given to representative group of Kashmir in Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).  Malik added that all embassies in Pakistan were also notified regarding the issue while ambassadors in foreign countries also ordered to support Kashmir movement.

Malik said independence movement of Jammu Kashmir was internationally recognised while Pakistan will not let down the issue. He said Pakistan wanted establishment longterm peace in the region but it cannot be established without resolve of Kashmir dispute.
