Pakistan level series with 10-wicket win against England

LONDON: Green Shirts have grabbed meritorious victory against England which levelled the series 2:2 after fourth and final Test match played at The Oval.

Pakistan regained its batting form in the final Test as Younis Khan alias “King Khan” smashed his sixth double century while Asad Shafiq completed his century during a strong partnership.

Outstanding show of Yasir Shah, who grabbed five wickets, stopped English batsmen to make grip on the crease during the second inning to cross lead of 214 runs. Wahab Riaz grabbed two wickets in the inning while Sohail Khan and Iftikhar Ahmed managed to get one wicket. Amir Khan failed to get a single wicket in the match.

England team was all out at the score of 253 which provide target of 42 runs to Pakistan which was easily chased without any loss of wicket.

Azhar Ali played the winning six to chase the target while his individual score was 30 runs. Sami Aslam scored 12 runs to see the victory stand.
