Govt taking measures to end terrorism: Abid Sher Ali

FAISALABAD: State Minister for Water and Power Chaudhry Abid Sher Ali Saturday condoled with the lawyer community over the tragic incident of Quetta.

He visited District Bar Association (DBA) and assured the lawyer community that the government was fully aware of their sentiments and was taking all-out measures to wipe out terrorism from the country.

He said that the Pak Army and government were concentrating on the combing operation against terrorists.

He said that the nation should also realise the gravity of the situation and cooperate with the government and law-enforcing agencies in identifying terrorists.

He said that the government has raised the Kashmir issue at all international forums. He said that we are duty-bound to support Kashmiris, who are fighting for their right to self-determination.

He was critical of the opposition and said that people were politically mature and they would not fall prey to their negative approach.

The minister said that the nation needed harmony at this crucial stage and should reject the opposition movements against the government.
