Two alleged agents of Afghan intelligence agency arrested in Peshawar

PESHAWAR: Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) on Wednesday arrested two agents of Afghanistan intelligence agency during raid in Peshawar.

According to details, the alleged terrorists who were identified as Attiq Ullah and Abdul Saboor were apprehended from Regi area in a search operation.

The security personnel claimed that 3 kg improvised explosive device, hand grenades and huge cache of weapons were also recovered from their possession whereas CCTV footage of populated areas in Peshawar was also confiscated.

Officers told that the militants were also getting pay worth lacs from the intelligence agency.

The action came after two days of Quetta civil hospital blast that claimed 73 lives and injured more than 150 people.
