ATTOCK: A Vehicle of Customs anti-smuggling cell met an accident in a high-speed chase claiming lives of four personnel after falling in a ditch near Bahtar area here on Wednesday.
According to Customs authorities, the personnel were chasing smugglers when they met a fatal accident. Those killed were identified as Amir, driver, constables Shakeel, Ijaz and Jameel.One Inspector was also injured seriously.
Director General of Pakistan Customs, Imtiaz Ahmed said the search operation in the area was underway with the help of Motorway Police to catch the smugglers.
