Former president of Balochistan Bar Association Bilal Kasi was gunned down in Quetta by unidentified men on Monday.
According to police, Kasi was on his way back home where unidentified men opened fire at Manu Jan Road.
After the incident the gunmen easily flee way from the site. He was expired on the spot after receiving several bullets.
His body is being transported to Civil hospital Quetta for postmortem.
An investigation of the incident is under way while lawyers staged a protest against the killing of former president Balochistan Bar.
