South Korean technological giant Samsung has already grabbed the spotlight this year with Galaxy S7 and Galaxy Note 7, now new device Galaxy A4 gets Wi-Fi certifications.

The new Galaxy A lineup called the Galaxy A4. Sadly, details regarding the handset’s appearance and intended launch date have been non-existent, but it would now appear that it’s one step closer to hitting the shelves as five carrier-branded variants of the device — SM-A430FD, SM-A430L,SM-A430X, SM-A430S and SM-A430K — have been granted Wi-Fi certification, which is one of the final tests required to release a new smartphone.

The device is expected to have a 5.5 inch display with Exynos processor, 3GB of RAM, a 13MP rear-facing camera, a 5MP selfie shooter, a 3,000mAh non-removable battery and ship running the latest build of Marshmallow.
