Niamatullah Khan, Hafiz Naeem visit residence of martyred Nasrullah Shaji

KARACHI: Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Karachi Ameer Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman and former Karachi Mayor Advocate Niamatullah Khan visited the residence of martyr Nasrullah Khan Shaji and met with his children and his brother Muhammad Waqar during his first death anniversary being observed on Tuesday (today).

During the meeting, the JI leaders paid rich tribute to Nasrullah Khan Shaji against his services which he had rendered in the different spheres of his life including politics, education, social and religious.

On the occasion, Niamatullah Khan said that the Nasrullah Shaji is still alive in the hearts of JI leaders and workers; adding that his services towards the party and society could never forget.

Former Karachi Mayor further said that the Nasrullah Shaji was a great son of soil and set an example as a teacher and principal of school by trying to save a life of a student who fallen in River Kunhar.

He further said that the government was also awarded Tamgha-e-Shujaat to Nasrullah Khan Shaji against his tremendous services rendered by him in different fronts.

Hafiz Naeem said that the Nasrullah Khan Shaji was a brave man and also raised his voice for the due rights of the people of Karachi.

Hafiz Naeem further said that the Nasrullah was also played an active role in Sindh Assembly as deputy parliamentary leader and kept himself on front in any issue as a brave leader.

“Nasrullah Shaji spent his entire life keeping an objective in his mind and we all need to follow the footsteps of him in order to achieve our goal”, he added.

It is pertinent to mention here that the JI Naib Ameer Karachi Nasrullah Shaji was drown to death on June 2, 2014 while trying to save a life of a student who fallen into River Kunhar near Balakot area.
