PPP leadership decides to change Sindh CM, cabinet members

DUBAI: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leadership has decided to make major reshuffle in ministries of Sindh government including its cabinet members and Chief Minister, the declaration of Dubai-based meeting said.

PPP spokesperson Farhatullah Babar told media that the decisions were made in high-level meeting held in Dubai under chair of PPP-P chairman Asif Ali Zardari.

He added the political party decided to change whole Sindh cabinet and especially the long serving Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah.

Babar said PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will return to Karachi during next week to implementation of the decision after meeting top leadership present in Pakistan.

It is being said the major reshuffle was decided over recommendation of PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.

PPP heads have also made decision to hold restructuring of political party on emergency basis in Azad Jammu Kashmir.

Sources said the leadership also held discussions over humiliating defeat in Azad Jammu Kashmir (AJK) elections.

However, the declaration did not clarify stance of the political party regarding extension of paramilitary troops Rangers busy in operating against criminals and terrorists in Karachi and different parts of Sindh province.
