Investigation report of Owais Shah’s kidnapping rejected

Chief Secretary and IG Sindh have presented a report regarding Owais Shah’s kidnapping in Supreme Court Karachi Registry which was rejected but the court by saying that the report is as putting dust in eyes.

A five member bench led by Chief Justice of Pakistan Anwar Zaheer Jamali conducted the hearing of the case at SC Karachi registry.

During the hearing, the IG Sindh and Chief Secretary presented a report regarding Owais Shah’s kidnapping in which it was stated that investigation is underway against four SP and SSP ranked officers.

The court was told that, IG has begun the investigation against 16 Grade 16 officers while federal government can take action against upper grade officers.

The court rejected the report over unreliability and ordered to submit the report of out of order CCTV cameras.
