LAHORE: Pakistan Test skippers Misbah-ul-Haq on Tuesday said that the news attached to his SUV was not true.
“The people from the Excise and Taxation department checked the tokens and papers allowed me to go,” said Misbah.
“I am taken aback by the news of my car being confiscated. Media should confirm the news before publishing it.”
Earlier, it was reported that Misbah’s SUV was confiscated by the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) due to the non-payment of taxes and duty.
It is pertinent to mention here that skipper was also confronted by FBR last year in October when his bank account was frozen due to non-payment of taxes amounting to 3.9 million rupees.
