At least six suspected terrorists were killed while two police personnel sustain injuries in an encounter with Law Enforcement Agencies (LEA) in Okara on Wednesday.
According to details, intelligence agencies and police launched a joint operation against terrorists on a tip-off in village 28 L-2 near Okara upon which the militants present in the area opened fire.
In retaliation six of them were killed on the sport while two others sustain injuries, police said.
Rocket launchers, material to make bombs and other arms were recovered from the dead terrorists. The law enforcement agencies have cordoned of the area and launched a search operation.
