LAHORE: Liaqat Baloch, General Secretary of Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Pakistan and Milli Yakjehti Council (MYC), said martyrdom of Hurriyat leader Burhan Muzaffar Wani will bear fruit as independence of Kashmir from Indian occupation.

Liaqat Baloch, while talking to a Kashmiri delegation in Mansoora Lahore, said Kashmiris are sacrificing everything for self-determination and independence of their beloved land despite barbaric moves of Indian authorities busy in mass murdering, torturing and atrocities in occupied Kashmir.

The JI Secretary General warned the Pakistani government for not making any positive expectations from India as the neighbouring country is making all efforts to control Pakistan through making conspiracies in Kashmir and Bangladesh.

He demanded Pakistani government to expose barbarism of Indian troops in Kashmir before the international community. He also urged to re-start diplomatic communication in important countries and concrete efforts in the United Nations (UN) in order to provide right of self-determination to Kashmiris.

Baloch announced nationwide public demonstrations will be held across the country against the Indian atrocities, as well as funeral prayers in absentia of Burhan Muzaffar Wani and other Kashmiri martyrs will be offered on July 15.
