ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) will hold an all-rounders camp after Eid to find the likes of Abdul Razzaq and Azhar Mahmood.

Talking to APP, a PCB official said that several players in recent times have tried to become regular all-rounders but they have failed to fill the vacuum created by Abdul Razzaq and Azhar Mahmood.

He said Chief selector Inzamam-ul-Haq has also underlined the need to find suitable all-rounders. The PCB Selection Committee found it difficult to categorize the likes of Anwar Ali and Bilawal Bhatti as regular all-rounders.

Pakistan will take on England in the first Test on July 14. This will be the first assignment for new head coach Mickey Arthur, while it will see the return of Muhammad Amir in England after the infamous spot-fixing scandal in 2010.

Amir, who has not played Test cricket since 2010, would return to Test on July 14 on the same ground.

The official said that the Chief Selector Inzamamul Haq is also likely to tour England in the series to monitor players’ performances closely.
