LAHORE: Deputy Secretary General of Jamaat-e-Islami (JI), Dr Farid Ahmed Piracha has said that the conquest of Makkah represent the height of the greatness and glory of Islam as well as provide a guideline for the Muslim Ummah in all ages.
Speaking at an Iftar party in the Lahore city on Tuesday, Dr. Farid Ahmed Piracha said that the message of the Badar Day and the conquest of Makkah during the holy month of Ramazan was that the Muslim Ummah should not be cowed down by the attacks of the colonial powers or surrender to them. Instead, the Muslims should keep unity in their ranks and prepare for Jehad that guaranteed the solution of all their problems.
