MADINA: Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Sirajul Haq has said that the decisive fight against corruption will be held after Eid al-Fitr.
He was addressing to an Iftar dinner in Madina, presented in his honor by Pakistani community. Sirajul Haq said that overseas Pakistani sent billions of dollars remittances every year but on the other hand the corrupt rulers, bureaucracy plundered the money and deposit it in their foreign banks. Hundreds of Pakistani families were present in the Iftar dinner.
Sirajul Haq said overseas Pakistanis should be given the right of vote so as they could participate directly in the significant decisions of the country. He demanded of the Pakistani embassy to establish educational institutes, where Pakistani students could get education in their national language and syllabus. He demanded of the government to ease the money transfer process for overseas Pakistanis.
