Restoration of international cricket awakens wish to play in home crowd says Mushtaq Ahmed

LAHORE:  Pakistan former leg spinner and current bowling consultant for the team Mushtaq Ahmed expressing jubilation over restoration of international cricket in the country said after watching international cricket on home ground has awaken him a wish to play international cricket again.

Talking to media men in Lahore the former leg spinner said that after watching passionate and motivated crowd in Lahore it reminded him of his time in the field.

Mushtaq said that young players’ spirit to play in front of home crowd was worth watching adding that many players played very first time in home ground for international match and their passion was noteworthy.

The team bowling consultant said that young players have been given full opportunity to show their brilliance so that they could get confidence.

Talking about Junaid Khan, he said that selectors will decide his inclusion in the team.
