Finance Minister Ishaq Dar has said provinces should take measures to increase tax net.
Addressing to national assembly, Dar said NFC has no connection with budget. Due to delay of a province government hasn’t started working on NFC award.
Whenever it is possible, we will start working on new NFC award, he added.
Government has got the suggestion to make amendment in order to increase tax net, he said. Government has also withdraw its decision to collect withholding tax through provinces, Dar added.
Northern route of China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) is under construction, the project will not only decrease poverty but also provide jobs as well.
