PM, COAS visit ISI headquarter briefed on internal, external security situation: ISPR

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Chief of Army Staff on Saturday (today) visited Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) headquarter in Islamabad, Director General (DG) Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on twitter.

According to the ISPR DG in his tweets on social media micro blogging site said that the PM has expressed serious concerns over recent statements by Indian political leadership. The PM said “we will take all possible measures to counter every action against Pakistan.”

The PM was briefed on internal as well as external security situation of the country, Intelligence Based Operations (IBO’s) and those terrorists actions which were averted and busted networks. According to DG ISPR federal ministers also attended the briefing. At the occasion, the premier said that terrorism and extremism are biggest challenge to a secure and  prosperous Pakistan. The PM also showed concerns over acts of foreign  intelligence agencies in destabilizing Pakistan.
