ISLAMABAD: Islamic Ideological Council (ICC) on Tuesday declared honour killing is a crime.
The council had formed a working group comprising of Ulema and law makers keeping in view the importance of the issue.
ICC said Islam doesn’t allow anyone to punish his/her relative for his moral crime. Despite forbidding obscenity and evil acts, Islam doesn’t allow anyone to punish the accused of immorality extra-judicially, it added.
