Hajj corruption case: Kazmi challenges verdict of 16 years sentence in IHC

ISLAMABAD: Former federal minister Hamid Saeed Kazmi on Wednesday challenged the verdict of the trail court in Hajj corruption case in Islamabad High Court (IHC).

Earlier, a local court sentenced to imprisonment for 16 years to Hamid Saeed Kazmi in Hajj corruption case.

The court had given 16 years imprisonment to Hamid Saeed Kazmi while former director general Hajj Rao Shakeel had been sentenced to 40 years in jail by the trail court.

The Court also announced 16 years sentence to Aftab Islam, who is accomplice in Hajj scandal case.

This scandal had occurred in the PPP’s Government tenure during 2008 to 2013. Hamid Saeed Kazmi belongs to Multan City.
