An explosion occurred near Gaddafi Stadium Lahore amid ongoing 2nd One Day International (ODI) cricket match between Pakistan and Zimbabwe.
Police said that the explosion caused in power transformer due to technical fault near Kalma Chowk situated near Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.
At least three security officials were injured on the spot while the incident spread terror amongst the local citizens.
However, security measures beefed up in and around the cricket stadium while all doors of the cricket stadium were closed citing security reasons.
