Pakistan interior minister Chaudhry Nisar said that Lyari gang war head Uzair Baloch and former in-charge of Karachi Tanzeemi Committee (KTC) of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Hammad Siddiqui are under strict observation. He added that authorities would not let them fled again.
Nisar said that security clearance was suspended due to wrong procedure adopted by previous government for Bol TV.
Chaudhry Nisar while addressing press conference in Islamabad said that investigation underway against Axact fake degree scandal while case would be registered against Axact administration based on more revelations after ongoing probe. He added that possibilities were present to file more than one case against the company.
The interior minister said that Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) wrote letter to Federal Board of Revenue besides contacting British interior minister regarding Axact Co.
He said that Interpol is also being contacted regarding the Axact scandal and a formal letter will also be dispatched to United Arab Emirates (UAE) officials.
