ISLAMABAD: The polling process for by-polls on the provincial assembly seats, PS-106, PS-117 and PS-22 is underway with strict security measures.
Out of three, two seats in Karachi, had become vacant after lawmakers from the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM), Iftikhar Alam and Dr Sagheer Ahmed, resigned to join Pak Sarzameen Party of former MQM leader Mustafa Kamal.
The ECP had finalised all security arrangements to ensure peaceful elections.
