At least six terrorists have been killed in an encounter with police at Layyah on Wednesday.
As per details, the Law Enforcement Agency (LEA) raided in Chobara area of Layyah District on an intelligence information.
The terrorists opened fire on the arrival of raiding party. In retaliation six of them were killed on the spot while two managed to flee away.
Heavy contingent of security forces reached the site and cordoned off the area to trace the other two.
Police said they have recovered two rifles and two hand grenades from the deceased terrorists, who were belonged to ban terror organisation.
The bodies of the terrorists also shifted to nearest hospital for postmortem.
