Motorway police imparts driving training to over 2500 unemployed youth

ISLAMABAD: Motorway Police (North Zone) has imparted driving training to over 2500 unemployed persons in collaboration with Technical Training and Vocational Training Authority (TEVTA).

According to details, DIG North Zone Ashraf Zubair Saddiqi said that the prime objective of motorway police is to create sense of awareness about traffic rules amongst the masses.

While distributing certificates amongst students of TEVTA on successful completion of training in NH&MP institute, DIG Ashraf Zubair Saiddiqui Said that Motorway Police is trying its level best through briefings, seminars,conferences and campaigns to create traffic rules awareness and to build a law abiding society in the country.

For this good cause, driving courses have been started in NH&MP driving institutes in collaboration with the Technical training institution of the Government of Punjab, TEVTA and more than 2500 unemployed persons have been trained so far and almost same number of students is under training.

DIG Further said that after successful training these people will not only prove good drivers but good citizens and they will be able to get respectable jobs in the country and abroad. At the end DIG N-5 North distributed certificates amongst the successful students.
