Govt using delaying tactics to probe Panama leaks: Sirajul Haq

LAHORE: Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer, Senator Sirajul Haq said federal government was using delaying tactics over Panama leaks investigations.

Sirajul Haq was addressing masses on the arrival of JI’s “Corruption Free Pakistan” train march at Lahore railway station. He said JI will bring all culprits involved in corruption to justice. Haq said the government should accept its incompetence and decided to chose either US or Pakistan.

Haq said they wanted opposition and government to finalise ToRS for a sovereign commission to investigate Panama papers and authorized to award punishments to those found guilty. He said the corrupt rulers wanted to plunge the masses into poverty and illiteracy. The JI leader said corruption had paralysed the whole system. He said corruption and Pakistan cannot go side by side. Haq urged the masses to serve country.

Sirajul Haq said Panama leaks exposed corrupt politicians, bureaucrats and businessmen. He said masses should get rid of corrupt rulers for their prosperous future. He said corrupt rulers had transformed the state of Quaid-e-Azam into a country of hunger and illiteracy.
