Education, not motorways reform nations: Imran Khan

SWAT: Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif should know that education, not motorways reform nations.

At a public meeting in swat district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), he hit back at the PM over his recent ‘where is Naya KP’ remarks, by saying that’ Naya KP will be seen in schools and not on newly developed roads.’

“KP is the only province where police is not politicized and our policemen were the ones who, within 24 hours solved the case of Soran Singh’s murder,” said Imran. He claimed that corruption has see a steady decline in the province after PTI came into power and medical facilities have improved and will further improve in the KP.

Imran Khan lashed out at the ruling PML-N and said that they could not bring any positive change despite three straight terms in Punjab and only looted the country’s money to invest abroad. He asked the people of Swat to demand KP’s due share in electricity, gas and water distribution from the PM, when he makes a visit to the area.
