The biggest Public Medical Center of Metropolitan city Karachi “Jinnah Hospital” is suffering from power breakdown for last 24 hours as operation theaters, wards and Instance Care Unit (ICU) are facing blackout.
The hospital is suffering it power breakdown since Monday morning and still no response from the authorities to fix the issue, Jinnah Hospital’s spokesman Javed Jamali said on Tuesday.
Patients are suffering from hot weather and only those who are in critical condition are taken to operation theaters, he added.
The hospital management is providing power to emergency via generators while ICU and general wards are also facing power breakdown, the spokesman of medical centre added.
