Senate, NA sessions to resume on Monday

ISLAMABAD: Session of both Houses, Senate and National Assembly, will be resumed on Monday (tomorrow) after break of two days which will be live broadcasted by state-owned media Pakistan Television.

Senate session will start at 4:00pm while session of the National Assembly will resume at 5:00pm.

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is likely to give policy statement regarding matter of Panama leaks to provide answers of seven questions raised by united opposition parties. Moreover, discussions will be held over current situation emerged after reply note of Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) to the federal government requested formation of a judicial commission for probing allegations made in Panama documents.

Speaker NA Sardar Ayaz Saddiq has contacted Ministry of Information and Broadcasting for live broadcasting of tomorrow’s session.

It should be mentioned here that opposition leaders in both Houses, Chaudhry Aitzaz Ahsan and Syed Khursheed Shah, promised in separate press conference for avoiding any kind of disturbance during the sessions to be attended by PM Nawaz Sharif.
