ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Water and Power Khawaja Muhammad Asif on Saturday strongly bashed Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PT) chief Imran Khan after he admitted ownership of an offshore company in 1983.

In a post on Twitter, Khawaja Asif termed Imran Khan as ‘Kalia’ and said that the one who is demanding judicial commission to probe Panama leaks had also possessed an offshore company.

While criticizing PTI chief, the federal minister said that “look at the impunity and sermons of Mr Clean.”

Separately, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Maryam Nawaz also tweeted and declared Imran Khan as ‘pioneer of offshore companies’ and stated that he deserves trailblazer award in this regard.

Minister of State for Privatisation Mohammad Zubair said that PTI chairman is fooling nation with his so-called speeches as he also owned offshore company.

Earlier, PTI chief Imran Khan confirmed that he had indeed owned an offshore company in 1983 on the advice of his accountant.
