Pakistan Senate chairman Raza Rabbani has addressed a ceremony of Consumer Choice Award in Karachi where he said that national support is necessary to defeat terrorism.
Raza Rabbani said that Pakistan is forced to become a security state which is quite different from welfare state. He said that Pakistan is facing dangerous threats of extremism and terrorism.
Senate chairman said that terrorism cannot be defeated only on basis of institutions and weaponry but national unity and power are also necessary for longstanding victory while no implementation is being made on 18th constitutional amendment.
