ISLAMABAD: Chairman Senate Mian Raza Rabbani Friday said that survival and strengthening of federation has closely linked with continuity of democratic system and all stakeholders would have to play their role in this regard.
Addressing a ceremony in National Press Club in connection with “Youme Azam”, arranged by NPC, PFUJ and RIUJ here, the Chairman appreciated the sacrifices of the journalists who had rendered for the freedom of expression in 1978.
He said there was a history of supremacy of constitution and restoration of democracy in the country and we had to aware our young generation about this history so they could understand the facts.
He said journalists, labors, poor people and civil society had made lot of efforts for the supremacy of constitution and democracy in the country.
