ISLAMABAD: Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Naib Ameer Mian Muhammad Aslam on Wednesday lead the funeral prayer in absentia for JI Bangladesh Ameer Motiur Rahman Nizami at Aabpara Chowk, Islamabad.
JI leaders Sahibzada Tariqullah, Sahibzada Yaqoob Khan, Shar Akbar, JI Islamabad Ameer Zubair Farooq, Milli Yakjehti Council (MYC) Vice President Luqman Qazi, All Pakistan Tajir Ittehad President Muhammad Kashif Chaudhry and a large number of people were present in the funeral prayer.
While addressing the participants, JI Naib Ameer Mian Muhammad Aslam said the only sin of Motiur Rahman Nizami was that he raised voice for united Pakistan. He said Motiur Rahman Nizami and his fellows were being executed for their love with Pakistan.
Mian Muhammad Aslam said that Bangladeshi courts leveled serious allegations on Pakistan in the verdicts against the JI leaders.
He said Bangladesh violation the trilateral agreement inked on April 09, 1974. Mian Muhammad Aslam demanded of the government to go in the United Nations and Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) against the executions.
The JI leader said masses in Bangladesh expressed their confidence on Motiur Rahman Nizami by electing him in elections.
