A censure resolution was presented in Punjab Assembly against the execution of Jamaat-e-Islami Bangladesh Ameer Motiur Rahman Nizami who was handed to dead for supporting united Pakistan in 1971.
The resolution was presented by leader of the opposition Mian Mehmood ur Rasheed. In the resolution he demanded to the government of Pakistan to raise the matter on international forum.
Motiur Rahman Nizami was executed for supporting Pakistan, opposition leader stated in the resolution.
