ISLAMABAD: Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Sirajul Haq on Friday expressed concerns over neglecting the recommendations of All Parties Conference held on China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
While addressing to the Senate Standing Committee on CPEC, he said no progress witnessed on CPEC supervisory committee. He continued that it was decided in the APC to form an advisory committee comprising chief ministers of all four provinces to supervise the mega project.
He demanded to table recommendations made by China Joint Corridor Commission in the assemblies. The JI leader said, “No practical work is being carried out at Western route of CPEC.” He demanded to give Gilgit-Baltistan representation in CPEC like China gave opportunity to Xinjiang province.
