KARACHI: In connection with the Jamaat-e-Islami (JI)’s countrywide campaign against corruption, a children rally entitled ‘Corruption Free Pakistan walk’ would be taken out on Sunday May 22.
JI Pakistan Amir Senator Siraj-ul-Haq will address the walk. This was decided on Tuesday at a JI Karachi office bearers meeting, held at Idara Noor-e-Haq.
Speaking on the occasion, JI Karachi chief Engr. Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman has said that all legal and the Constitutional measures would be taken to eliminate corruption from the country.
He vowed to pace up the campaign against corruption more precisely and said that the campaign would remain continue till its logical end of eliminating the curse of corruption from Pakistan.
He said that Panama leaks have unveiled the real face of ruling regime. He was of the view that rulers in Pakistan has been plundering and safeguarding corruption since a long.
The JI leader said that the plundering and corruption of rulers have forced masses to starvation and pushed them under the red line of poverty. He said that 200 million people of Pakistan are directly affected by the corruption of rulers.
He said that it is not a matter of concern but also of wonder that national assets, including Pakistan Steel Mills have been facing a downwards spiral to shatters, while the assets and mills of rulers have been progressing with a tremendous pace.
