LAYYAH: Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif has visited Layyah and expressed condolence over the deaths of as many as 31 people who died after swallowing toxic sweets.
According to details, the minister met the affectees and termed the deaths caused by eating poisonous sweets as miserable.
He also expressed regret for the loss of innocent lives.
The families have put forward their complaints before Shehbaz Sharif regarding continuous neglection from hospital administration.
Addressing to the locals, the CM said that he is here with the message of Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif who has assured to investigate the whole incident and ordered to take stern action against the responsible people.
