MANSOORA: Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Ameer, Senator Sirajul Haq on Friday presented 13-point Terms of References to recommend thorough investigation into the Panama revelations.
While addressing a mass public rally at Mansoora, he appealed the Chief Justice of Pakistan to hold investigtion of Panama Leaks in order to bring the plundered money back. The JI Ameer said the nation will agree only on independent, fully authorized and CJP-led commission.
He demanded immediate formation of the commission to probe the Panama revelations within 15 days, adding that the probe should be started from PM and his family. Sirajul Haq said all political parties have rejected the ToRs forwarded by the PM to CJP.
While addressing the public meeting, Haq said the 13-point ToRs will be presented before opposition parties during a meeting scheduled on May 02. He added the recommendations will be forwarded to the government after its final approval by the opposition.
JI central Shura also endorsed the ToRs during a three-day long meeting. JI Naib Ameer Hafiz Muhammad Idrees, Rashid Naseem, Asadullah Bhutto, Central Information Secretary Ameerul Azeem and others were also present on the occasion.
