PESHAWAR: The district administration of Peshawar on Friday imposed section 144 in the city for a period of one month owing to security reasons.
A notification issued by Deputy Commissioner Peshawar Riaz Mehsud, said that section 144 bans a gathering of more than four people for rallies.
The notification further said that there will be complete ban on pillion riding. Afghan refugees have also been barred from entering the city and instructed to stay within camps.
