Kuala Lumpur: Asian Cricket Council (ACC) on Thursday announced to change format of 2016 Asia Cup, ACC chief executive Ashraf Ul Haq said.
The ACC said that in 2016 the Asia Cup will be played in T-20 format adding that the AC 2016 will be held after T-20 World Cup.
Earlier, it had been played in ODI format.
Ashraf Ul haq said that it was not decided which country to host the Asia Cup 2016.
He also said that two associates team will also be added in 2016 Asia Cup.
Haq said that in 2018 the cup will be played in ODI format.
