FAISALABAD: Pakistan’s opening batsman Ahmed Shehzad on Monday found himself in hot waters as he has broken dressing room’s window with his bat during Pakistan Cup today (Monday).
As per details, Shehzad, after failing to complete his century against Balochistan during a Pakistan Cup match on April 24, smashed the dressing room’s window to vent his anger.
The 24-year-old was unhappy to be given out on 79 by the on-field umpire, saying Bilawal Bhatti may not have claimed a clean catch.
Shehzad will pay for the broken glass from his match fees, sources said.
However, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is yet to take note of the incident.
