LAHORE: As many as 355 teams of Punjab Agriculture experts have been provided training to growers to increase yield of cotton crop.
Punjab Agriculture sources said on Monday, that during first phase of training, about 241,410 farmers had been given training.
The sources added that 24,853 copies of literature with information to increase cotton production had also been distributed among farmers.
The second phase has been started and 177,302 farmers were being imparted training to achieve the objectives, the sources added.
