ISTANBUL: The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has reaffirmed its support to the peoples of Palestine and Jammu and Kashmir for realization of their legitimate right to self-determination.
The support was expressed in the Joint Communque issued after conclusion of the two day OIC summit in Istanbul on Friday.
The communiqué called on India to implement numerous UN resolutions on Kashmir. It declared that the final disposition of the State of Jammu and Kashmir will be made in accordance with the United Nations Security Council resolutions and aspirations of the Kashmiri people.
The communique has also addressed other issues of interest and concern to the Muslim Ummah. President Mamnoon and Niger PM discuss regional issues. The two leaders stressed strengthening of bilateral relations in diverse areas, particularly trade and economy.
