Federal Minister for Law Rana Sanaullah stated that Chotu Gang would be eliminated within next 48 hours.
Rana said Chotu became a dacoit to fight against land lords who grabbed his land and he started this as a fight for his own rights.
Army is now deployed to help Punjab police lead by IG Punjab, he said.
A company of 100 Army soldiers is deployed to help Punjab police which is expected to take part in the air strike and ground battle.
It is pertinent to mention here that, the operation against Chotu Gang in Katcha area (river forests) in Rajanpur has been underway for last 16 days.
