KARACHI: Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif on Wednesday resolved to bring the war on terror to its logical end.
While chairing a high level security meeting at Corps Headquarter Karachi, he expressed his satisfaction over the pace and achievements of Karachi operation. The COAS also addressed to the personnel, officers in Air War College and appreciated the role of PAF in Operation Zarb-e-Azb.
COAS said that economic progress and economic activity is directly linked with peace in Karachi hence a terror free and peaceful Karachi is the ultimate aim of this operation and all efforts must be directed with a focused approach to achieve this objective.
Corps Commander, DG ISI, DG MO, DG MI, DG Rangers were present. COAS was briefed in detail regarding ongoing Karachi operation including intelligence based operations.
