ISLAMABAD: Pakistan will host fifth ministerial conference of Heart of Asia-Istanbul Process (HAIP) co-chaired by Pakistan’s foreign secretary Aizaz Chaudhry and deputy foreign minister of Afghanistan Hekmat Khalil Karzai in Islamabad on April 25 (tomorrow).
The international conference would be participated by 12 countries, 16 supporting countries and 12 regional, international organisations in order to promote peace and prosperity in Afghanistan.
Initiatives would be made by co-chair Pakistan adopted in Beijing Conference held in October 2015.
Heart of Asia-Istanbul Process was launched in 2011 to bring together regional countries to promote peace and prosperity in Afghanistan where Pakistan is the co-chair for 2015 with Afghanistan.
